Say<\/strong>\u00a0e tell<\/strong>\u00a0sono entrambi verbi relativi alla comunicazione ma hanno usi e significati differenti. Se non sai quali sono, niente paura: oggi imparerai come impiegare queste due parole nel discorso indiretto!<\/p>\n

To Say<\/em>: quando si usa?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

  • Quando si dice qualcosa.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    E.g. She said that the meeting was cancelled.<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

    • Di solito con il discorso diretto.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      E.g. Laura said \u201cHello Andy, how are you today?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

      E.g. Adam said \u201cI love you\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

        • To tell<\/em>\u00a0si usa nel discorso indiretto per dare ordini o istruzioni<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          E.g. She told him to stop talking during class.<\/em><\/p>\n

          E.g. The boss told us the project needs to be finished today.<\/em><\/p>\n
