Chi ha viaggiato almeno una volta all’estero, lo sa: parlare di cibo in inglese pu\u00f2 essere complicato! Il cibo \u00e8 una delle migliori cose al mondo ed \u00e8 un aspetto importante e imprescindibile per capire una cultura e alcune tradizioni. Ma parlare di una cosa cos\u00ec semplice (e cos\u00ec buona…) pu\u00f2 non essere semplice se non si conoscono i termini giusti per parlare di sapori, profumi, consistenza (elementi chiave per gli esami linguistici pi\u00f9 comuni<\/a>): oggi imparerai alcuni aggettivi molto popolari, usati proprio per parlare di cibo in inglese!<\/p>\n

Parole per descrivere sapore e consistenza dei cibi<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Savory<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>– food that is not sweet.<\/p>\n

E.g. Americans and British people generally prefer a savory breakfast.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Spicy<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>– Strong flavor from spices. It can also be used to mean hot.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. Food from Calabria is famous for being delicious and spicy.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Sweet<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>– Usually an enjoyable taste of sugar.<\/p>\n

E.g. I like to make my tea sweet by adding honey.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Greasy<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>– Containing lots of fat or oil.<\/p>\n

E.g. Greasy foods like fries and fried chicken are not part of a healthy diet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Bland<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>– No flavor, boring.<\/p>\n

E.g. White rice with no vegetables or soy sauce is bland.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Crunchy<\/em> <\/strong>– Firm and making a loud noise when it is eaten.<\/p>\n

E.g. I like eating carrots because they are crunchy.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Sour\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>– Have a sharp and acidic taste.<\/p>\n

E.g. I only can eat a little bit of lemon as they are very sour.<\/em><\/p>\n\n
