Gli avverbi di frequenza (inglesi ma anche italiani) ci dicono quanto spesso o con quale frequenza qualcosa si verifica.<\/strong> Sono davvero tanti ed \u00e8 normale confonderli e a volte non avere chiaro come si usano correttamente: un corso di inglese<\/a> pu\u00f2 davvero fare la differenza per aiutarti nella grammatica inglese; comunque oggi imparerai quali sono gli avverbi pi\u00f9 usati e spero che avrai le idee pi\u00f9 chiare per adoperarli come un vero madrelingua.<\/p>\n\n

Impara ad usare gli avverbi di frequenza in inglese<\/h2>\n\n

Always<\/em> – At all times; on all occasions.<\/h4>\n

E.g. I always wear a uniform at work.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Usually<\/em> – Generally; under normal conditions.<\/h4>\n

E.g. I usually drink coffee for breakfast.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Frequently<\/em> – Regularly or habitually.<\/h4>\n

E.g. I frequently check my work emails.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Normally<\/em> – Under usual conditions; as a rule.<\/h4>\n

E.g. You normally come to work early.<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. It normally takes three hours to drive from Florence to Rome.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Often<\/em> – Many times.<\/h4>\n

E.g. We often play tennis in the spring.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

*Attenzione:<\/strong> <\/span>per chiedere informazioni a proposito della frequenza di qualcosa, si usa how often.<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. How often do you go on vacation?<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Sometimes – to say that something happens on some occasions rather than all the time.<\/h4>\n

E.g. I sometimes go to ‘happy hour’ with my colleagues.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Occasionally<\/em> – now and then.<\/h4>\n

E.g.\u00a0He occasionally goes to concerts.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Hardly ever\/Rarely<\/em> – it does not happen very often.<\/h4>\n

E.g. I hardly ever read the newspaper, I’d prefer to read news online.<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g.\u00a0We live in Spain so we rarely see our aunt that lives in Australia.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Never<\/em> – not in any circumstances at all.<\/h4>\n

E.g. She never plays rugby because she thinks it’s a dangerous sport.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Subject<\/em> + Adverb<\/em> + Main verb<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

E.g. I never eat meat as I’m a vegetarian.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Subject<\/em> + BE<\/em>+ Adverb<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

E.g. I’m usually happy when I’m on vacation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

*Attenzione all’eccezione:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0gli avverbi di frequenza inglesi\u00a0<\/strong>always<\/em>\u00a0e never<\/em>\u00a0possono stare all’inizio di una frase quando si danno ordini o istruzioni.<\/p>\n

E.g. Always remember to lock the door before you leave.<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. Never do that again!<\/em><\/p>\n\n
