If I were you, I would take an English class.<\/em> If I had studied English at school, I would be fluent.<\/em>\u00a0I condizionali in inglese possono mandare in confusione gli studenti alle prime armi, ma don’t worry!<\/em>\u00a0Oggi ti insegner\u00f2 il periodo ipotetico in inglese con esercizi<\/span> facili e immediati: i condizionali non avranno pi\u00f9 segreti per te!<\/p>\n\n

La tabella riassuntiva del periodo ipotetico in inglese con esercizi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
ZERO CONDITIONAL: If<\/em> + present simple \/ present simple<\/p>\n\n

Usi:<\/strong>\u00a0per fatti che sono generalmente veri ed evidenze scientifiche; le condizioni restituiscono sempre il medesimo risultato.<\/p>\n

E.g. If you heat ice, it melts.<\/em><\/p>\n

Puoi anche invertire sempre l’ordine delle frasi.<\/p>\n

E.g. Ice melts if you heat it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

* <\/em>puoi usare\u00a0if\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>o\u00a0when<\/strong><\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

FIRST CONDITIONAL: If<\/em> + present simple \/\u00a0will<\/em>\/won’t<\/em> + verb<\/p>\n\n

Usi:<\/strong>\u00a0una situazione possibile nel futuro o qualcosa di probabile.<\/p>\n

E.g. If it rains, I won’t go to the beach<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. I won’t go to the beach if it rains.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Generalmente si utilizza WILL<\/em> nella frase principale, ma puoi anche usare i verbi modali: MAY<\/em>, MIGHT<\/em>, COULD<\/em>, CAN<\/em> quando qualcosa \u00e8 una possibile conseguenza di un’azione.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

SECOND CONDITIONAL: If<\/em> + past simple \/\u00a0would<\/em> + verb<\/p>\n\n

Usi:<\/strong>\u00a0Situazioni ipotetiche o non auspicate; situazioni irreali o improbabili nel presente o nel futuro.<\/p>\n

E.g. If I won the lottery, I would travel the world.<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. I would travel the world if I won the lottery.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

THIRD CONDITIONAL: If<\/em> + past perfect \/\u00a0would have<\/em> + past participle<\/p>\n\n

Usi: <\/strong>quando si parla di qualcosa nel passato che non si \u00e8 verificata. Una situazione immaginaria nel passato.<\/p>\n\n

E.g. If I had studied more, I would have passed the exam.<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. I would have passed the exam if I had studied more.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

MIXED CONDITIONAL 1: If<\/em> + past perfect \/ would<\/em> + infinitive<\/p>\n\n

Usi:<\/strong>\u00a0Risultati presenti di una condizione passata.<\/p>\n

E.g. If I had been born in London, I would speak English.<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. I would speak English if I had been born in London<\/em><\/p>\n\n

MIXED CONDITIONAL 2: If<\/em> + past simple \/ would have<\/em> + past participle<\/p>\n\n

Usi:<\/strong>\u00a0Risultati passati di un’azione presente o continuativa.<\/p>\n

E.g. If I were a good cook, I would have had a dinner party.<\/em><\/p>\n

E.g. I would have had a dinner party if I were a good cook.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n

*altri verbi modali possono sostituire would<\/em> (e.g. could<\/em>, might<\/em>, may<\/em>)<\/p>\n

*per la forma negativa aggiungi not<\/em>\u00a0dopo il verbo modale<\/p>\n\n

Se hai frequentato o stai frequentando un\u00a0corso d’inglese per studenti,<\/a>\u00a0probabilmente hai gi\u00e0 familiarit\u00e0 con i condizionali ma un ripasso non fa mai male!<\/a><\/p>\n
