Vestiti, persone e turisti sono tutti sostantivi numerabili perch\u00e9 si possono quantificare in modo preciso (uno, due, tre e via dicendo), quindi usiamo too many<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Allora, quando si usa too much<\/strong><\/em>? Con i sostantivi non numerabili.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m too<\/strong> old<\/strong> to go clubbing, I would rather stay inside and watch a film.<\/em><\/p>\n

Altri errori comuni:<\/p>\n

Incorrect: I like Italy too much.<\/em>
\nCorrect:<\/strong>What it means: I like Italy a lot\/I really like Italy.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Incorrect: I am too much happy!<\/em>
\nCorrect:<\/strong> I am really happy.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n

When to use enough<\/em><\/h4>\n

Ora che ne hai avuto fin troppo della parola “troppo”, capiamo come usare enough\u00a0<\/em>nel modo corretto.<\/p>\n

Enough<\/strong><\/em> pu\u00f2 essere usato sia come avverbio che come aggettivo.<\/span> Significa “abbastanza” e pu\u00f2 essere usato sia in frasi positive che negative.<\/p>\n

Enough<\/em> \u00e8 spesso seguito da un verbo all’infinito e preceduto da un sostantivo\/pronome.<\/p>\n

Se invece usi enough<\/em> come avverbio, questo va messo dopo l’aggettivo.<\/p>\n

The shirt was big enough<\/strong> for me.<\/em>

Is there enough<\/strong> food left over for James?<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Usato come aggettivo, enough<\/em> precede<\/strong> il sostantivo. Qui ci sono alcuni esempi di enough<\/em> usato come aggettivo:<\/p>\n

I have enough<\/strong> money to buy a car.<\/em>
\n(<\/em>We DON\u2019T<\/strong> say\u00a0I have money enough to buy a car, <\/em>because enough modifies the noun \u201ctime\u201d)<\/em><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t have enough<\/strong> time to finish the test.<\/em><\/p>\n

Do you have enough<\/strong> food for dinner?<\/em><\/p>\n

There\u2019s not enough<\/strong> room for everyone in this bar.<\/em><\/p>\n

Aspetta, c’\u00e8 di pi\u00f9! Quando enough<\/em> sta da solo o segue il verbo essere o altri verbi, svolge la funzione di pronome indefinito. Significa “abbastanza cose” o “abbastanza persone”.<\/p>\n
