Mi riferisco a <strong><em>so <\/em>e <em>such, <\/em><\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">che in inglese sono pi\u00f9 o meno l&#8217;equivalente di &#8220;very&#8221; e &#8220;really&#8221;,<\/span> ma che diversamente da queste ultime non possono essere utilizzate alla leggera dato che seguono regole ben precise. Continua a leggere e dissolvi ogni dubbio <strong>su so e such, e come si usa ciascuno dei due<\/strong> senza sbagliare, soprattutto se ti stai preparando per ottenere la <a href=\"https:\/\/myes-staging.nohup.host\/it\/ottieni-una-certificazione\/livelli\/b2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">certificazione B2!<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">So e such in inglese: regole per utilizzarli al meglio<\/h2>\n\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle2\"><strong>Usiamo spesso &#8220;so&#8221; e &#8220;such&#8221; in inglese per indicare <em>very<\/em> o <em>really, <\/em><\/strong>anche se vanno usati in modo diverso. Oltre a rendere la frase pi\u00f9 forte, danno enfasi a ci\u00f2 che viene affermato. Ma quali sono le <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">regole che disciplinano l&#8217;uso di so e such in inglese?<\/span> Vediamole!<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>So + aggettivo \/ avverbio | <\/strong>Usiamo so prima di un aggettivo o avverbio (mai col sostantivo) esattamente come <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">rafforzativo di <em>very.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><span class=\"fontstyle2\">She was <strong>so<\/strong> beautiful (= she was very beautiful).<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">He ran <strong>so<\/strong> quickly (= he ran very quickly).<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">The food was <strong>so<\/strong> delicious (= the food was really delicious).<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">The children spoke French <strong>so<\/strong> well (= the children spoke French very well).<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>So + <em><span class=\"fontstyle0\">much \/ many \/ little \/ few <\/span><\/em><span class=\"fontstyle0\">| <\/span><\/strong>Per indicare una <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">quantit\u00e0 &#8211; che pu\u00f2 essere moltissima o pochissima<\/span>&#8211; lo usiamo invece prima di <em>much \/ many \/ little \/ few<\/em>. Ricorda che occorre un sostantivo al plurale dopo <em>many<\/em> e <em>few<\/em>, mentre serve un sostantivo <em>uncountable<\/em> dopo <em>much<\/em> e <em>little<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><span class=\"fontstyle2\">I ate <strong>so much.<\/strong><br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">I ate <strong>so much<\/strong> cake.<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">He had <strong>so many<\/strong> candies.<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">He bought <strong>so many<\/strong> books.<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Why did you eat <strong>so little<\/strong>?<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">He had <strong>so few<\/strong> friends that he was very lonely.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Such + sostantivo \/ aggettivo e sostantivo | <\/strong>Ok, <strong>ma come si usa such<\/strong><em><strong>? <\/strong><\/em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Diversamente da so, pu\u00f2 accompagnare un sostantivo o un aggettivo con sostantivo.<\/span> In pi\u00f9, se \u00e8 presente l&#8217;articolo indeterminativo (<em>a<\/em> o <em>an<\/em>), questo va dopo such.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle2\"><em>She was <strong>such a<\/strong> beautiful woman (= she was a very beautiful woman).<\/em><br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">NOT: <em>she was a so beautiful woman.<\/em><br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">NOT:<em> she was a such beautiful woman.<\/em><br \/><\/span><em><span class=\"fontstyle2\">He got <strong>such a<\/strong> good time in the race (= he got a very good time in the race).<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">It was <strong>such<\/strong> delicious food (= it was really delicious food).<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">The children spoke <strong>such<\/strong> good French (= the children spoke really good French).<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Such + sostantivo | <\/strong><strong>Come si usa such?<\/strong>\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Puoi abbinarlo a <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">un sostantivo per mostrare la tua opinione in modo forte e deciso.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><span class=\"fontstyle2\">He&#8217;s <strong>such a genius!<\/strong> (= he&#8217;s a real genius \/ he&#8217;s very clever).<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">You&#8217;re <strong>such a teacher!<\/strong> (= you act in a typical way for a teacher).<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Attenzione: prima di so e such non vanno mai parole come <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\"><em>this, those, your, his.<\/em> <strong>So e such in inglese seguono immediatamente il verbo!<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle2\">NOT: <em>This so beautiful city. (Correct: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">This city is so beautiful<\/span>)<\/em><br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">NOT: <em>Your so helpful friend. (Correct: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Your friend is so helpful<\/span>)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Per parlare di conseguenze di determinati avvenimenti, possiamo usare so e such in inglese con <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">queste formule: <em>&#8216;so&#8230; that&#8230;&#8217;<\/em> e<em> &#8216;such&#8230; that&#8230;&#8217;<\/em><\/span>. Attenzione: non si pu\u00f2 fare lo stesso con <em>very\u00a0<\/em>o <em>really!<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><span class=\"fontstyle2\">It was <strong>so<\/strong> cold <strong>that<\/strong> the pond froze (= because it was very cold, the pond froze).<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">She felt <strong>so<\/strong> tired <strong>that<\/strong> she fell asleep on the train (= because she was very tired, she fell asleep on the train).<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">It was <strong>such<\/strong> an expensive meal <strong>that<\/strong> he didn&#8217;t spend any money for the rest of the month (= because it was a very expensive meal, he didn&#8217;t spend any money for the rest of the month).<br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">They have <strong>such<\/strong> a lot of books <strong>that<\/strong> they need to store some of them in the garage (= because they have really a lot of books, they need to store some of them in the garage).<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ultimo tip su come si usa such:<\/strong> possiamo metterlo prima di \u201ca lot (of)&#8221; per indicare una grande quantit\u00e0.
